USF Spring set for 2PM at Corbett Stadium

Written by Yousaf Khan
The battle to replace 3 year starting USF Bulls QB Quinton Flowers has already started between rising junior Brett Kean and rising sophomore Chris Oladokun during spring practices. The public and Bulls fans will get to cheer both on as they battle for a starting spot along with rest of the returning Bulls on Saturday in the annual spring game. A number of key positions will be open including running back, wide receiver, linebacker, and both sides of the line as a huge senior class recently departed the program.
The game will start at 2PM at Corbett Stadium, located at 2102 USF Elm Drive, Tampa, FL 33617 on campus near the Sun Dome and the athletic center. Fans are allowed to tailgate pre-game on campus parking lots and are encouraged to bring blankets to sit in the grass berm areas as all regular seats may get filled.
Also, prior to the game a street festival will be held on Elm Street right outside the stadium beginning at Noon for fans of all ages to partake in. Activities will include food trucks, a rock climbing wall, a polar pad, balloon twisters, a bounce house and other activities for kids to participate in.
Between Classes Sports writer/photography Yousaf “Da Guru” Khan will be onsite to get some pics and catch the action with a post-game summary article soon after, stay tuned!
