The University of South Florida Bulls (11-5-3) suffered a 2-1 lost to the No. 3 seed University of Connecticut Huskies in the AAC championship semifinals on Friday at Corbett Stadium. The teams fought hard and went into the half tied 0-0. UConn got on the board 1st when Moustapha Samb set up Sebastian Brems at the 55:11 mark. Two minutes later Kwame Awuah and Abdou Thiam seem to catch the Bulls sleeping and made them pay with another score. The Huskies went on the defense and was able to stop everything but Nazeem Bartman kick. USF seem to be trying to mount a comeback but UConn was not having it. With a 2-1 lead and 11 minutes left the Huskies were able to pull off the upset.
