So much excitement heading into this game only to fall into a blowout. Yes, you read it correctly I stated a blowout (beat down, somebody did not get off the bus, did you leave the hotel room). One of the most interesting things I notice about this matchup of UCF VS Memphis was that no team was out for the National Anthem (blank stare). Let’s stay focus on this route of Memphis who defense was shaky at best. Adrian Killins Jr took the ball 96 yards with that world class track speed. Once he got to the second level it was rocket booster time (meet meet i.e. road runner).
Even the rain could not stop UCF Saturday night but it did stop fans for showing up to support this great football team. So, this is what you missed fans of UCF, quarterback Mckenzie Milton putting on a show with his feet and improving arm. The UCF offense put on an offensive explosion putting up 40 points on a team that beat UCLA. So, we are finding out that the knights are for real, so what’s up next for this good football team? They could run the table potentially but you must look down the road at the University of South Florida and quarterback Quinton Flowers.
Memphis Tigers you are good team, but you must go back to the drawing board on how to play defense and stick to what got you here. What holds the future for you is to stay confident in yourselves and put in work. UCF great game and looking forward to covering your next game in November against the Bulls (USF). Peace.
