Southeastern Fire win 31-7

September 13th the Southeastern Fire made history with their first win before a sold out crowd in Lakeland. Everyone was excited  to see who would get the first points in the new stadium and that honor  goes to kicker Will May. May made a 25 yard field goal to make the lead 3-0.

Warner’s defense heard Jonathan Pearce to DeVontae Mack two times, one was a 80 yard burner for the a touchdown. The second one was a 20 yard touchdown that increased the lead to 24-0.

IMG_0728The ground game was lead by Jarrell Reynolds who racked up 140 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries. Demonta Blunt did not  take it easy on the defense adding another 100 yards on the ground.  The game was 31-0 before the Royal’s QB Andrew Rodriguez scored on a sneaker. The next home game will be September 27th 7pm vs University of Faith.
