A pair of 8-4 teams meet in the Outback Bowl on January 1st, 2018 at 12 PM in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium. Both teams will want to finish the season strong with a win to carry into the 2018 season. Michigan head coach John Harbaugh, “having a great matchup against South Carolina helps motivate us to do that…It’s really building and attacking at the same time-this season and next season.”
Michigan is led by a stingy defense that was third nationally in total defense and allowed under 275 yards a game. The offense is spearheaded by running back Karan Higdon who has 929 yards rushing and 11 TD’S. South Carolina impact player is QB Jake Bentley who has 16 passing and 6 rushing TD’s on the year.
