Auburn, Ala. — The Auburn University football team has from the “Sunshine State” of Florida on their team this year. Being from Florida we know that the state can not keep all the talent but we had no idea the Tigers were getting that much. As I scroll through the roster the 1st name I hit is Nate Craig-Myers from Dade City by way of Tampa Catholic. Could the 6-2 213 pound receiver been apart of the team that was in the state semi final about 2 years ago? Yes he was on the team!! Let’s keep scrolling to Jeff Holland of powerhouse Trinity Christian in Jasckonville. Duval county is known for sending a team or team every year to the State finals. Look for Mr. Holland to stop some big plays this year. And then there is juniors Carlton Davis of Miami Norland and Byron Cowart of Armwood. These guys come from legendary programs and were standout so it is great to see they are still causing problems at the next level. Next we will add in Cocoa , Orlando / Apopka and Lakewood so my friends dont kill me. Jamel Dean suffered an injury last year so you know he ready to get back on the field. Lakewood’s Ryan Davis was a surprise to see. This guy can straight up play but I wish he was taller because QB is a better fit for him. From Orlando the Tigers went for some great guy that can block. Fullbacks Chase Cramer, Alex Medary and Offensive linemen Calvin Ashley are here to make the holes wide and protect the quarterback. Last but not least we are going to finish it off with Chandler Cox. Being from Orlando we are very familiar with the elite players from A-P-K!! (Apopka) although I went to Evans high. As you can see when Auburn does a great job recruiting from Florida. I also want to give a shout out to Wayne Dickens of the 2001-2004 team form Lakeland area.
