Black Brown College Bound

On February 18th – 21st the Black Brown College Bound Summit was held at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel. The theme was Turning the Page: Transforming The African American and Latino Male Experiences in Higher Education. The workshops ranged from Successful Minority Male Mentoring Programs in Higher Education, Financial Literacy and Join the Change Agents to name a few.  The featured speaker Mr. Steve Harvey talked about his strong faith that lead to his success. He repeatedly told the high profile crowd that he is here for the college kids.
